• Hi!
I installed latest version of storefront theme on wordpress 4.1.1. My blog post look different from blog post on demo storefront theme . Please have a look at my storefront theme. I want to move comment and category links to the bottom rather than at left side of posts. I have not done any customization to theme files except function.php, header.php and footer.php. No customization was done to style.css. I have removed all the plugins. All other thing looks same as in demo storefront theme.
Please tell how to make my blog posts look like as in demo storefront theme.
Please reply. I am eagerly awaiting your reply.
    Thank You,
    Murtaza Lanewala

    Hi!
In addition to the above, i reinstalled storefront theme and remove all the widgets but problem still persists. Please help me.
    Thank you,

    Hi,

Sorry for the confusion, the demo is running the Storefront Blog Customiser extension which allows you to do this (and more).

You’ll need to modify via child theme to do this without the extension.

    Cheers

    Hi!
    Thank you for your help.
I have installed the Storefront child theme named Boutique. Please! Tell me how do i modify child theme without any extension to make my blog posts alignment same as storefront demo theme.
I am a newbie so please tell me exact CSS code that i need to replace. Also tell why it recommended to modify child theme rather than parent theme.
    Thank you,
    Murtaza Lanewala

    Hi,

You’ll need to adjust the CSS, or purchase the extension.

We recommend child themes so that you can perform update to the parent theme (when you perform the update, changed files are overwritten). But seeing as you’re using Boutique I’d rather recommend that you keep your customisations in a separate plugin. Otherwise you wont be able to update Boutique. Here’s a plugin for that: https://github.com/woothemes/theme-customisations

    Thanks

    Hi!
Thank you for your kind help. Sorry i am bothering you again. I have successfully installed theme customization plugin.
Please! tell me the CSS code that needs to modify to move the (category, tags and comment) links from left side of the blog post to bottom of the blog post. So that i can display more characters per line or display wider images than possible in existing blog post styling.
You may visit my storefront theme link above to refresh your memory.
    Please! Help me.
    Thank you,

    Hi,

I’m afraid it’s a little more than CSS, you need to re-arrange the content as well. I’d recommend purchasing the extension, or hiring a developer to perform this tweak for you.

    Thanks
