I have tried to download Storefront numerous times and it keeps saying
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. Which is crazy because they are there. Plugin install failed. I am very new to doing this myself so must be doing something wrong. Can someone explain why this is happening?

Second issue is Woocommerce image is enormous. I have tried installing code CSS as per a forum dated 2 years ago but that did not work. Any idea how to get image size normal without having to put a sidebar? I have not put shop online yet so working on the backend only

I am able to download storefront but am unable to upload it properly probably because I don’t know what I’m doing. How do I upload it? The last time I used filezilla it totally wrecked my site.

I have created an ftp directory that can be accessed at:

    https://ftp.n9god.com/ftp/

    user – wp-guru
    passsword – !kent1413

if that is of any help.

btw judith as I understand it storefrom is a theme and is installed via appearance>themes it is not a plugin

OMG – makes so much sense that it is a theme. I did not consider it that way. Thank you thank you. Talk about a major learning curve
