Store Social Profile Data in Buddypress Custom profile fields

  • Hi,
    the subject is basically the question:
    Can i store the data i get from the social networks store in buddypress custom profile fields (extended profile)?
    Or, if this is not possible, connect the extended profile to the standard profile?

    Whenever a user registers on my site with his social account the data is stored in the standard wordpress profile and not in the buddypress profile.
    Then this data is not visible in the frontend for the user himself when he is allowed to change his data.
