Store Only Woocommerce tempaltes?

I’m a big fan of the Meks themes and for the photography site I’m building they’re perfect. Hoewver, despite supporting woocommerce, their store/woocommerce pages do not inherit the main theme layout – it’s basically a plain vanilla blank page with a thumbnail and some of the text entered in the product details etc.

I’ve gone through the woocommerce manual and the info is breadcrumb trails rather than how to information. What i need to know is – is there a way to say force the woocommerce pages to inherit theme layout information, to embed woocommerce content into a normal page or to grab template files from say a free woocommerce theme and drop them into the current theme I’m using and impose the styles on the woocoomerce pages only?
