    Hello all,

    I have been troubleshooting an API issue with Printful and WooCommerce for over 3 weeks now. I am really at my wits end here…at every turn, I am stumped or some other problem occurs. I feel as if my site has gremlins!

    For reference, I have Hostinger Cloud Startup plan.

    I have deactivated plugins, added plugins (including ImageMagick Engine), optimized my site, changed themes to (twenty twenty four, and a few others), restored to a prior point in time, completely started over (recently) by deleting all my files, and now I am beginnning to build it back again from scratch! I had deactivated Hostinger CDN, used the following code in htaccess (on the old site) to disable Mod security :
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off

    Nothing seems to work consistently.

    Anyways, when I came over here to finally ask for help, I get the following error when I try and submit a ticket:

    I go to my store, and this is how it looks (looks connected)…

    So, I went to check WooCommerce API status in WordPress, and I see the API enabled doesn’t say yes or no or have a check mark…

    This makes me think that the API issue is something with my setup in Woo or WordPress. I realize that I can bypass the AI tool to submit a ticket – but should the API status be enabled? The Printful API is actually a part of an app.

    My store was working great and one day it just quit, and I do not remember if there was any significant changes made…Plus, I am a complete noob at this….drinking from a firehose everyday trying to learn. Error logs seem sporadic – for example, when my site was showing connected, I was getting a common reoccurring error code in logs for Printful :

    I understand about the issues you’re experiencing with the Printful API. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you’ve tried so many different solutions.

    Looking at your description, it looks like the issue is with the Printful API. May I ask, were you able to reach out to the Printful support by any chance to hear what they have to say? If not, I recommend reaching out to them first, as they stand a better chance at providing a way forward.

    I did reach out to them and in my opinion, they just give standard answers (disable plugins, check with your host for resources, etc.), and point me to everyone else. I have followed all of their advice. I guess I just want to make certain that in the WooCommerce settings – – – should the status of the API be blank? (API Enabled: –) Or should it show active, checkmark, etc.?

    I am moving my products to Printify and hopefully I do not experience any issues with their WooCommerce plugin. Thanks again.

    I ended up rebuilding the site from scratch. One thing I noticed (and what I beleive may have been the main issue with my website) was that I had installed a Starter Theme along with Astra Pro. However, I thought I no longer needed the Starter Theme plugin. This plugin came with a few other plugins also…and i thought I noticed some wording that mentioned these were needed for the theme. So when I rebuilt my site, I left these plugins active and keep them updated. I am guessing this was at leas part of the problem…(?). Not 100% certain. Anyhow, hope this helps someone in the future.

    I still have random issues with Printful, so I switched over to Printify (which has its own issues with loading up every mockup variant and color for every product!) Good luck all!

    @julialucio, this was for issues with Printful. I think it was a combination of issues. First, I think I needed some plugins that I deleted (for my theme). Second, Rebuilding the site was the best way to eliminate everything for me personally. Since I am new, it made the most sense aside from spending a bunch of money for someone who may or may not solve the issue. I have some weird issues with Printify also, but so far everything is working. Sorry I cannot help more. Good Luck!
