@bububang – Store manager is not a standard WP role – this has been introduced by another plugin.

You could try installed a role scoping plugin – like User Role Editor – or you will simply need to login as an admin.

User data is potentially private information, so it’s probably advisable to restrict which roles can access this.

    Hi..

Yes, i already installed something similar and give most of permission to Store Manager except update core, plugin, nextgen gallery.

Sorry for not explain it clearly, the issue is like this..

It will prompt to download csv when using Admin role, but when using Store manager role, it will open the csv page as html instead of download. I tried to add MIME type to htaccess but it still the same. Any solution for this?

    thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for the extra info – the capability that is required to export is “list_users” – try adding that and see if it helps.

Without see more information, I really have no idea why this role is not able to export – please try giving it all the admin capabilities and then see if that works – if not, something else is affecting the export.

    Hi,

While I can’t duplicate your exact set-up, I’ve tried to create a new role and give this role the required capabilities – in my test, the user in the new role was able to successfully export as a .csv.

I can’t think of nor see a reason why the export should fail – so it time to try the classic fix – turn off all other plugins, move to the default theme and turn on some error logging in the wp-config.php in order to try to locate the problem.

I’m marking this as resolved, but I don’t think it is a plugin bug – just a user expectation issue.. please feel free to re-open it if you have some new info to change this conclusion.
