• Hello,

First, I’d like to thank you for this great plugin which makes us to use gtag manager easily on wordpress websites.

I’d like to know if there is a way to use your plugin or if you will develop it in the future for tracking clicks on store locator and especially on store which appears on the map or in the store list.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,

Thanks for the kind words ??

Store locators are usually shown with an embedded Google Maps widget. But not necessarily. Are you using Google Maps or any alternative?

    Hi,

Yes I’m using Google Maps with the “WP Store locator” plugin.

Thanks, the main problem with the Google Maps widget is that I haven’t seen any generic event listeners:

    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/event-simple

As far as I have seen click event listeners needs to be created while markers are being created this it is hard to add external listeners not related to the code that created the map itself.

Alright, that’s exactly what I understood. So I have to find a way to create it on my own or find a better store locator plugin.

    Thanks for your help!

I am not sure that any store locator plugin has think of this integration, I wouldn’t switch your plugin if I were you. Instead you may contact the plugin author to ask for this feature. I am open to help creating any integration between any valued plugin if this can help you and others to track even more interaction on your site.
