Store Credit Additional Bonus Coupon if 1st coupon spent in store

  • To promote customers to spend their affiliate earnings in store, we will offer an additional bonus of 10% in store credit only, if their earnings are spent in store.

    Can we create a bonus coupon which can only be used with another coupon?

    If the first coupon is spent in store, then the second coupon become valid.
    Likewise, if they spend 50% of the first Coupon, 50% of the second coupon will also be valid and available.

    An affiliate earns say $500 for a sale that they were responsible for.
    So we will send them an in Store-Credit Coupon for $500.
    This $500 coupon can be paid out, if requested, if over a certain value. in which case, it will just be deleted.

    1. So we will first, issue a Store Coupon for $500.

    We want to be able to give them an additional Coupon, say 10% bonus in store credit only, that can only be used with this first coupon, if the first coupon is spent in store.

    2. So we will then issue a second Store Credit ONLY Coupon for $50.

    In other words… Payout value $500. – Store Credit $550

    Can we do this ?
    Can we modify the extended coupon to do this ?
    maybe by using checkout payment method and creating a Coupon payment method.???

    About the affiliate coupon; I think there must be out-of-the-box solutions for that; Maybe this is something: https://www.itthinx.com/plugins/affiliates-woocommerce/?affiliates=22 .

    It should be quite easy to create coupons that are only valid in combination with another coupon. The woocommerce_coupon_is_valid filter can be used for that.

    Ok, from what you are saying, we have to write a custom function in our theme’s functions.php file as to the validity of the second coupon.

    How about being able to use an equal percentage from both coupons, until used.
    ie.. if I have the $500 coupon and the $50 bonus as above..
    and I buy a $100 product paid for, by using the coupons..

    That is 100/550 or 18.181818% from each coupon. ie…
    $90.91 from the first coupon and $9.09 from the second Bonus coupon..
    Remainder coupon value $409.09 and $40.91 respectfully.

    Can we add a function here as well to create this kind of functionality?
    or does that need to be somewhere else and how..

    Note: We do have Affiliate Enterprise installed.
