Hi I’m using the “Advanced Coupons for WooCommerce Free” plugin by Rymera Web Co.

They have a store credit option which is great for us. On mobile, it works perfectly with your Fluid Checkout plugin.

But when we go to checkout using your plugin on desktop, the store credit doesn’t work. It says:
“Store Credit Balance – $x available – Apply?”

The word “Apply?” appears to be a hyperlink, but when we click on it, it does nothing. I see a “javascript:void(0)” link box in the bottom left hand corner of Chrome.

Is it possible that this is a conflict with your plugin? The Rymera team says it’s not coming from their side of things. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this error?

Thank you very much for your help. Great plugin,
    Chris

    Hi @chrisalton11,

This seems to be an incompatibility between Fluid Check and Advanced Coupons plugins.

What happens in many cases is that the other plugin does not expect the order summary section to be duplicated on the page, which is the case with Fluid Checkout.

The scripts of the other plugin would then find the first element they are targeting on the page and stop there and not look for other instances of the same element.

There is a quick solution that would be to use a specific option of the plugin which does not require that section to be duplicated. it goes as follows:

    1. Go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Fluid Checkout

    2. Locate the option “Place order” and set it to “Below the order summary”.

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the option “Save changes”.

Could you please try that and let us know if that solves your issue?

We are also currently working on a potential solution to this issue, however, this is likely to take a while until we are able to implement this.

We will notify you here on this post as soon as an update is available.

    Best,
    Alan.
