Storage between media files and this plugin

    I’ve just been given a site to work on, and the client has this plugin installed with a long list of files in it. I also see many of the same files in the media library. Do the documents in Download Manager get stored in both places?

    Thank you for your query.

    By default Download Manager stores file only in wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files directory.

    Hi!
    I’m wondering if I have a document and it is in the download manager file, as well as my media library, can I remove the file that is in the media library without affecting the one in the download manager files.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Unfortunately, as of now, WPDM doesn’t have such a feature.

    But thanks for your suggestion, we may add this in a future release.

    I am trying to clean out my server. If a file is in download manager, can I delete it out of my media library manually?
