stops lightbox links working

There shouldn’t be any weird issues with lightboxes working while MonsterInsights is installed so we would like to investigate what is causing this issue.

Can you do us a favour?

Remove the file extension for the images in your lightboxes from your Insights > Settings > Engagement > File Downloads.

This setting is towards the bottom of the Engagement settings page. Here’s what to look for if your image files end in .jpg.

P.S. The side-effect is that file downloads for that file extension won’t get tracked anymore. But, your lightboxes should work.

New update: this might have been an issue with earlier versions. Can you make sure you’re using the latest version, 7.17.0?

yeah i ended up removing image extensions from the settings and that seemed to work. I haven’t been able to do the update test yet.
