Stopping Spammy email address that are similar….

bro , these emails are spam and made by bots not humans .. if you are talking about comment forms , use akismet by Jetpack
if you are talking about your site’ users , add a captcha or a quiz to your registration form . luck to you bro ??

sorry i am kinda new to this, using wordpress since the begging of this year ??

i also do a very simple trick on my site to avoid spammer users , since i enabled registring on https://elegance-style.com , i get around 100 fake spam user per day .. s simply i disabled registering , and added a simple form to let people who want to register to send me their name and email via a contact form (Jetpack) , then i do open their accounts by myself and email them the logging details .. you can say i am quite Punk and Begginner but am sick with bots!

I’d ban this:

If they all have that nice string in there, then it’ll catch ’em. And since it reuses the comment blacklist, that will stop comments too ??

Ipstenu, unfortunately it didn’t work.

Only banned [email protected] not other like [email protected]. That one got thru.

Any other suggestions?

Alas, no. The plugin doesn’t do regex like that since it would catch too many false positives. If it’s that bad, block all gmail ??
