• I have just updated to WordPress 4.8.1 and now the “Insert Shortcode” button just does nothing. It means the plugin is now broken.

  • I have similar problem, but the button works but all short codes are visible as “[su_{insert function}]” instead of the function (column, row, etc). Also if I save a page in visual instead of text, it converts the visual to a text representation (showing the shortcodes) and then if you switch to text, it has replaced the brackets with the character codes

@grahamjones Have you found a solution to this problem yet? I’m experiencing the more or less the same: On pages the pop-up comes up, on posts, I need to press the insert shortcode button 3, 4, 5 times before it shows up.

Reverting to WP default theme and disabling all plugins except SU does nothing.

I am having the same as you Boris. On pages it works, but on posts it doesn’t. So, it does appear that something in the upgrade to 4.8.1 affected this plugin. It needs updating it would seem.

Thanks for responding Graham. @vladimir – any chance you can have a look at this? I promise I’ll buy the premium add-ons package if you solve it ??
