Stopped working on subdomains

Has anyone else had this problem: RSS Multi-Importer worked fine on all my subdomains (on all I activated the plugin individually) until 3.8.1 was released. It still works on my main domain, but subdomains don’t move anymore — nothing comes in, not by clicking the “Fetch New Feeds” button (I use Feed to Post and have Content Blocks set as destination post type — with Allen’s help), nor with cron.
It’s not a plugin conflict, because I tried it by turning off all plugins that aren’t activated on the main domain as well.
Could there be a fix, or is this a bug?
