Stopped working after page (or WordPress?) update

I made a change to the page and suddenly the page title showed again, even though “Hide Title” was still checked. I tried unchecking, re-checking, and finally updating the plugin. The title still showed. I hid it with CSS as it is on a production site. I will try it on my test site later today unless you already figured out why it might have stopped working.
