stopped working

  • I’ve been using this plugin for a long time, but it’s suddenly stopped working. It’s stuck on one quote. I’ve double checked all the settings and nothing has changed.

    Is this plugin still being supported?

    The lack of response is disappointing. I have a lot of quotations in the database for this plugin — and yes, I know I can export them — but I’ve gone through this before and the export/import doesn’t work very well. I would pay for a plugin that does a random quote efficiently and stays up to date, but as far as I can tell, there isn’t one anywhere.

    Hi. Did you check the “Dynamically fetch the first random quote in widget?” box? That’s what made it work for me. I have the option loaded on 3 sites, all running WP 4.8 and the random quotes work. I have a pool of around 70 quotes.

    Yes, I have that option checked. The plugin has been working (I’m using it on two sites running WordPress 4.8) until recently. Now it’s dead in the water in both places. You can see the bigger installation here.
