Stopped spam from getting through JetPacks contact us form

We are using a basic JetPack contact us form. We were getting daily spam. We wanted something plug and play to add security. We didn’t want to reinvent our contact us form using contact us 7 or other plugins. We also didn’t want to pay for Akismet or others that natively support JetPack. I came across Goodbye Captcha. I installed it and only turned on the JetPack support. We have had no spam via the JetPack contact us form since activating Goodbye Captcha.

In testing I found that the form time limit functionality no longer worked and when emailing Mihai he promptly let me know that those features had changed and were probably being removed from the dashboard in the future. He then assisted me in testing whether or not Goodbye Captcha was blocking spam. He was able to fake a spam attempt which was blocked and recorded in the nice reporting feature. And of course he sent me a valid message as well.

One of my best experiences with a wordpress plugin and its author. We will probably expand its use in the future.
