Hi there, all this time the plugin was working like charm and now after the last update of avada theme, the plugin works only in the back-end (admin panel).
In the front end of the website, the porfolio filters are sorted alphabetically despite the sorting that i have done with the plugin…

    Please can you help ?

    Hi:

Just wondering why this thread is marked as resolved.

I am using the latest Avada theme and the latest version of your plug-in and am having the same issue. I, too, submitted a ticket to Avada support and was told they are not responsible and to contact nsp-code.

    See Avada’s response below:

“As this is a 3rd party plugin, and we unfortunately cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with all plugins available, I am going to suggest that you please contact the plugin developer/author regarding this. We simply do not have control over the plugins development or codebase.

Please check our current list of Avada compatible plugins -> https://bit.ly/1cob3JR”

Any help that nsp-code can provide would be appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Hello!

@jmacd … this issue was definitely fixed in Avada 3.8.4 and is working o our end and for other customers. Please make sure you are using that version.

If you are using 3.8.4, please reply back to your ticket with information so we can see why it is not working for you.

    Thanks!

@jmacd, I just looked at your ticket with our system and the form you submitted says you are on 3.8.4, however inspecting your site it shows you are on v3.7.3

Please update to the latest version of Avada.

To clarify, your stylesheet says 3.8.4, but your theme is 3.7.3/ Please make sure to fully update the theme.

    Cheers!

Apologies. I have 3.8.4 running on my staging site but not yet on live as I want to resolve the issues first.

Avada has come back to me with a new response saying that they do support this plug-in and are having a look, too.

Here is the staging url: https://smallworkslive.staging.wpengine.com/

    Hello,
I am using Avada Version: 3.8.6.1 and this plugin. I’m having the same issue, not seeing changes on the front end . I’m showing my blog categories in a widgetized area ( blog post sidebar). Anyone knwows how to fix this? Thank you!

This may not work for everyone but it did work for me. I kept chopping and changing things in the admin via the plug in with no result.

I was using Portfolio categories on a page and I had to open the page to edit it and under the Portfolio Categories section, re-assign the categories I wanted and update the page.

I cannot remember now if I had to clear server cache to see the change but I don’t think so.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Hi again !!
I have the same problem with the taxonomy order. Again it is not working…
The strange is that the Portfolio – Re-Order is working perfectly, the taxonomy order has the problem.

I have the latest version of wordpress (4.3.1), avada theme (3.8.7), and the plugin (1.4.6.1).

    Please advice ..

So i managed to sort the categories through the trick that jmacd said:

I diselect all the portfolio categories, save the page and then i reselect them, save the page and the sorting is ok
