• Hello,
We have several sites that run this plugin, and then suddenly three weeks ago it stopped working on all of them. It’s a great plugin, we’d like to keep it, any others chime in on this with the same problem? See our contact page, one of several pages where it’s activated:

I would assume clearing cache is needed but also re-saving the settings of Proxy & VPN Blocker to generate a new unique settings key here just incase something is cached there (like the VPN IP I use to test). VPN blocking is also turned on?

Gotcha. Cache purged and settings re-saved. Try your side with VPN? VPN blocking on

Unfortunately it still doesn’t appear to be working but that was worth a go.

Is anything showing up in your positive detection logs on proxycheck.io? if the VPN was being detected it would show Netherlands.

If not, Is it possible to disable the caching part of this wp-optimize plugin or WP-Optimize entirely, to rule this out. I understand this is burdensome when it is a live website.

No worries, WP-Optimize disabled. Also, I just noticed your plugin auto-updated. I can downgrade again if I need to – let me know. (I now have turned off auto-update for your plugin).

It still doesn’t appear to be working and lets me through. ??

I’m not sure what else to suggest right now.

is it set to redirect to a custom block page or is it just the default setting there?

Default setting. I downgraded to 1.5.4 again. Try?

Yep, no luck unfortunately. This is quite odd.

You are certain that it used to work? In some rare instances site theme can have an effect. I don’t see anything in your plugin list that stands out otherwise.

Yes, and it worked very well. See: https://prnt.sc/th5ki0
And from our other site that gets a ton more traffic: https://prnt.sc/th5lam

Your plugin greatly helped us reduce online fraud by not allowing visitors to mask their IP identity – when they got to the cart or checkout page, they had to abandon their VPN in order to proceed. Most bad actors don’t want to since during the check out process other verification catch the mismatch and decline cc transactions. So, this helps us reduce fraud and charge back issues.

Both sites are using the same plugin set? If they both stopped working at the same time, perhaps one of the plugins that updated?

I am glad that the plugin helped you when it was working.

Yes, all sites are using the same plugin set. Right now I’m searching server logs for errors and really only finding Xmlrpc.php issue.

I suggest that you check your proxycheck.io account for any issues with query allowance.
