Stop votes for some categories only

    Hi,

    I would like to block the possibility of voting when a post moves to some categories.
    I don’t want to hide the buttons when the posts change category, but that they become “fixed”.

    I suppose I could set the “voting period” to 0 only when the posts are in those categories, but I can’t figure out how to do this… Maybe we can include the good shortcode in the plugin files, but I’m not good enough to see where I can do this nor how to code this…

    I someone can help me, that would be great !

    Hi!

    There is a special option for your case – ‘Allow voting’. You can enable it by adding ‘ voting_enabled=”0″ ‘ to the shortcode string.

    You can use this shortcode in content or in theme template. Please, read documentation for more info.
