Whenever clicking the Elementor button it automatically scrolls you to the top of the page, regardless of button placement or settings. I attempted to add an anchor to prevent this, however, it had no effect as upon the first click the button always goes to the top of the page, while on the second click it goes to where it was anchored. The problem persists with all other plugins and CSS disabled.

  • Hi,
Could you please send me the URL of the site?

    Thank you.

    Hi,
There seems to be a bug or a wrong setting applied.
Please make sure you are using the most recent version of Elementor, clear cache, and then regenerate CSS –
Go to Elementor > Tools on your WordPress dashboard. Click Regenerate CSS.

If this continues please open a Github ticket. Our Developers are responsible for managing the Elementor-Github Forum.

Hi, the issue appears to have resolved on its own, so I’m not sure what I can say was causing it or not. While working on other areas of the website in waiting for a response the button started working properly. This is odd because my first move was to test if it was a plugin-related issue, shutting off and clearing the cache on all plugins, which originally had no effect.

If I figure out what caused the bug to occur or it happens again I’ll post a follow-up reply.

    Hi,

Glad to hear the issue is resolved.
