Stop User Access Manager Hiding private categories from the menu bar

  • I am using UAM to make certain categories private. The problem is they were links in my menu bar. But now because I made them private they are hidden from my menu bar.

    How can I override this so that my menu bar still shows the links to the private categories even if they are private?
