stop translation dashboard or hide menu item

  • Hello,
    I’m trying qTranslateX local. Seems to work perfect. However a few question regarding to the problem:
    The site will have 2 languages: French and English. I need to have my dashboard in my language (Dutch BE). I do not want to switch my dashboard language.

    If I set in the plugin the 2 languages (FR and EN) with Dashboard language set to NL-BE then I got error ‘unknown language’ in plugin settings. It seems all still working fine, but can I switch off the error?

    Other possibility is to add NL to the plugin. But then comes automatically the menu option to switch to NL – a language not needed in the site. So if I can hide this then it is oke for me too.

    Is any of this possible? Or maybe you have other solution?

  • I’m not exactly sure what you mean but I suspect the solution is in the WP admin console, Users > Your Profile > Language and choose the one you want.
