Stop “Title” of RSS feed widget linking to URL?

  • I have Wrodpress 2.1.2 with the Widgets plugin installed. I want to prevent the titles of my RSS feed widgets being links to the URL. My site uses only two colours. The title for each sidebar section is white on red. However, my links are red. If the title is also a link it can’t be seen.

    Wouldn’t it be way easier to just change the CSS so that the links in your sidebar aren’t red? After all, you’re going to find red links on a red background more of a problem than just with this one widget.

    I did change the colour of links to prove that was the problem. But it ruins the style. Not much looks good against both dark red & white. It’s improtant to maintain the colour scheme. It’s also a design that was agreed by a committee. That means almost anything is easier than changing the design!

    There are no other places where the colour scheme creates a problem.
