Stop Spammers?

    Hi Paul,

    I have so far used the Wordfence Security plugin combined with the Stop Spammers Spam Prevention plugin.

    I’ve given up on Wordfence Security plugin.

    Now I use Shield WordPress Security plugin.

    I would like to know whether it makes sense continue to use the Stop Spammers Spam Prevention plugin? I suppose all this features has Shield plugin also. On the other hand, I had a problem with the HTTP Headers option, and I assume that this could be the cause.

    I have a finger over the deactivation and deletion. I’d like to hear a second opinion.

    This plugin should be able to stop spam comments… we’ve been using for years now and not had a problem whatsoever with it. Very mature code in there. ?? Give it a shot and see how it works for you.

    I have not noticed a problem. Perhaps best to leave this plugin. Useful as a tandem with Shield WordPress Security plugin.
