Stop spam on bbPress

Does this plugin stop spam on bbPress topics and replies forms? If I inspect the forms I see that there is a hidden input with id=”killer_value” but I don’t know how this work. I know that real users do not see the hidden input obviously and that spam bots yes because they try to fill the input but if I fill the value for that hidden input the plugin let me to create the topic or reply so that’s why I don’t know how is really working. Thank you!
