Stop RSS Feeds from unpublishing

  • HI @mikestuart – Though PressForward will switch RSS feeds with errors into alert post-types, the retrieval process will continue to attempt to retrieve them. The feeds aren’t actually disabled, but PressForward is warning you that the feed wasn’t able to be retrieved in its last attempt.

    If, in a following attempt to retrieve the feed, PressForward is able to do so, the system will remove the alert status on its own.

    We’re working on two good solutions to this problem, better optimized feed retrieval, which should help with your server and a way to suppress alerts on individual feeds or turn off alerts entirely.

    The functionality should be live in the soon to arrive update!
