Stop PayPal from saving payment method if no auto-renew

Hi there – we have a problem under these conditions:
- A subscription is selected for checkout
- It’s set *not* to auto-renew
- PayPal is used
Outcome:
The payment method is being saved to the user’s account. This looks like their PayPal email.When the issue comes up:
Many users will attempt to manually renew a year later. Because their PayPal email was saved to their account, it looks like they can just click a button to renew.But, they get an error.
I understand this has to do with PayPal billing agreements.
I’ve instructed them to delete the saved payment method from their account and try again – works every time.So question: How do I stop the payment method from being saved to the account in the first place, but only when auto renew is *not* checked?
