Stop New User Email Notifications

How else would they get their password?

Single site. Should have included more info (sorry!): I’m using an events plugin; the only new user accounts are created via this plugin. I don’t even need the accounts to be created but that’s how the plugin keeps track of sign-ups for events. I’ve already set it so that these new accounts have 0 access to anything; ideally, I don’t want these people to be spammed with login credentials for accounts that do nothing.

More vital information I left out: I’m using WordPress as a CMS for a site that is not a blog, so there are no comments etc. that people would get to sign up for.

Thanks, that at least confirms that I was looking at the right functions! I modified the plugin to turn off the admin email as well, but both are still being sent. I assume this means that the events plugin must be overriding stuff?

Sweet, it was indeed buried within some of the events plugin stuff. I guess this would’ve been better in the plugin forum, but, eh it’s resolved now! Hooray. Thanks again. ??

actually, this is a pretty good solution, thanks Ipstenu, I’ve been asked this before and hadn’t had time to find the plugin… or code something into EM.
