• Hi,

    I am using CDN server for serving images to my site and I was wondering if there is a way to stop Jigohsop creating all the image sizes because they clutter my server. Instead one image is enough to be served in different sizes across the site.

    At the moment Jigoshop creates:

    tiny image: 36×36
    thumbnail image: 90×90
    small image: 150×150
    large 300×300
    admin product list 32×32

    I only need the large one which will then be served in different sizes where needed.

  • Please have a look at the Jigoshop Settings -> Images. There you can tick/untick what kind of images you would like to be created.

    “Leave unchecked to set the image size by resizing the image proportionally (that is, without distorting it). Leave checked to set the image size by hard cropping the image (either from the sides, or from the top and bottom).”

    In your case – all unchecked.

    I have unchecked all the Croping Options but when I upload an image in a new post or new product it still creates images with all the image sizes. I don’t mind the sizes, I to stop creating images with every size, instead only one and then resize accordingly that one image upon page load.

    Can leave zero value in height and width in the image sizes options on the Jigoshop Settings -> Images page?

    @msabolik

    Well, Jigoshop adds sizes to WordPress and WordPress itself handles image upload with thumbnail generation. What happens if you upload ordinary image using Media panel?
