stop gutenberg live rendering

hej ‘guttenbergs! ??
thank you very much for your super fast editor! as a developer i am using quite a lot of dynamic content. unfortunately while editing a page with live rendering content i am suffering on performance issues though i am on a tough server. it looks like that this live rendering is part of the bock editor, is that true?
is there a way to switch of that live rendering? maybe by hook or config definition? or something like defining the interval for live rendering?
if none of these is possible so far, please take this topic as feature request!
