stop from rotating under a model

  • Hello Maurice,
    Great plugin work amazing Thankyou!

    As described in the plugin when you drag the model you can spin it in any direction you wish, this is great.
    however is it possible to stop the user from spinning under my model?
    the user will not be able to drag under the ground plane set .

    in trying to solve the rotation issue i have found orbitcontrols.js
    in this there are 2 functions
    this.minPolarAngle and this.maxPolarAngle these appear (based on the commented description ) to do what i’m looking for however in changing this and saveing the file then reloading the page , the parameter have no effect.
    in-fact changing any thing in orbitcontrols.js seems to have no effect
    please help i’m really trying

    still working on the orbit controls java file. it seems to have good control options in there and they are all commented so they are easy to understand,

    are users not supposed to edit this file?
    is there a way to activate this file as any changes I make to the file seem to have no effect?

    I’m sure your buys and can’t answer everyone, I have searched the FAQ and there is no mention of this file that I can find, so I don’t believe this is an old question that has already been answered.
    just looking for some help, please.
