you can give it an exact px amount to scroll to, such as:
    [expand title="Stars" findme="2070"]
    https://plugins.twinpictures.de/plugins/collapse-o-matic/documentation/#findme

What if I use a setup like this example with my roll-your-own

    <span class=”collapseomatic find-me” title=”Slow Donkey” id=”donkey2″ >Slow Donkey</span>
    <div id=”target-donkey2″ class=”collapseomatic_content”>Donkeys are not so fast.</div>

can i then still use findme=”2070″? because I cant seem to get it to work

In your most excellent example above you would simply add: <a id="find-your_id_here" name="2070"> like so:

    <a id="find-donkey2" name="2070">
    <span class="collapseomatic find-me" title="Slow Donkey" id="donkey2" >Slow Donkey</span>
    <div id="target-donkey2" class="collapseomatic_content">Donkeys are not so fast.</div>

    Can you dig it?

Actually I just came to realize

the site is responsive, so now on mobile this wont be correct…

can i trigger the name of a div or something else? or is it only pixels that is possible with this plugin?

which version of the plugin are you using?
Edit: I see you are using 1.5d. Let me play with some ideas and get back to you. Not to worry, we’ll get you sorted out.

Very nice looking website, by the way.

    Thank you… it’s a work in progress still ??

But yes updated to that version yesterday trying to sort things out. So I hope that you come up with a solution. And thanks by the way for all the help

Just a quick note to let you know we have not left you hanging…
…we just are slamed… and the free stuff got bumped.
but we’ll get back to you in the next days with a solution.

    No, really… we will.

Well, it took a bit longer than expected, but if you check out version 1.5.1 of the plugin that was released today, the fine-me auto feature should now work with responsive site design. Give it a try and please let us know!

Updated to 1.5.1 and my findme auto is now not finding the trigger, as it had previously. You can check it at www2.wmpl.org/where-we-work, though i may soon revert to an older version.

    (@baden03)

OK, revert back for now and I will see what is going on with the findme auto… it should work, but you know how things go. We’ll contact you in a little bit.

Thanks, as always, for the feedback!

Hey UaMV, can you contact us via support (at) twinpictures (dot) de ? We would like to get this issue you are having figured out ASAP. Thanks.

Please upgrade to alpha version 1.5.2a available at The Plugin Oven and let us know if this solves your issue.

It comes close to finding the trigger, but focuses just below the trigger, instead of above. Again, if no related (highlander, in my case) elements are expanded, it hits right on. Can still be seen at www2.wmpl.org/our-work

tricky, tricky… ok, we’ll keep at it and let you know.
