Stop featured image displaying in post

  • Is there a way to prevent the featured image appearing at the top of a post?
    Using Easy Digital Downloads for the store and use the featured image to appear as a thumbnail on the front page but I don’t want it to appear on the post itself.

    In effect I need the same MakePlus layout options for Downloads as there is for Pages and Posts – for some reason the sidebar options are there in layout options but not the Featured image display options.
