Thanks for jumping in on this. It was a great function and much needed!

BTW…I’ve been having a hard time reaching your plugin and support on WP.org yesterday…I kept getting an error message that the plugin couldn’t be found. It appears okay today. Don’t vanish like that!

Answer is that CF7 changed. You will have to change your code. See https://contactform7.com/2015/01/06/contact-form-7-41-beta/

I updated the documentation on my site

    THANK YOU!

I got a similar message at CF7 in response to my support note there and was pointed to the same place. I made a couple of the changes but didn’t know enough to make all of them so it didn’t work.

THANKS AGAIN for getting this fixed!

Michael….Thanks for taking care of this but I found a problem.

The new code stops the Loading.gif from displaying. At least it does on my site. Any idea why this would be?

    THANKS!

It works but doesn’t show the gif? I don’t know how that might happen. Seems like more of a CF7 issue.

Tell me how much sense thing makes:

    – With your script in place it catches dupes but the loading.gif doesn’t display.

    – Removing your script completely and the gif doesn’t display

    – Removing all of your script EXCEPT the add_filter line at the end (an accident) and the gif DOES display but it goes on endlessly without submitting the form.

    I know….huh??

Does this make any sense to you?

I think I got it sorted out….it’s a very strange inherited set-up and the previous developer had put in a dupe checking that the client didn’t like. I had to comment out some of their js which hadn’t stopped your method from working but did stop the jif for some reason.

    Whew!

Thanks for listening and sorry to throw this your way when it wasn’t your dong or problem.
