On one of my sites, everytime I run this plug-in it has defaulted to doing a backup first. If I uncheck that option, when I come back in again it is automatically checked. Is there any way to turn this OFF? I do daily backups with Updraft anyway and don’t want optimize to default to doing another one.

This is only happening on 1 site. My other 4 sites don’t do this.

    Hi @davidfw1960,

Apologies for the delayed reply. Is the site you are seeing issue with have a different setup to that of the other 4? Does it have a different PHP or MySQL setup? Also do you have plugins on this one site that you dont on the other 4 too?

If you could provide me with some detailed information so that I can re-create the scenario here, I will be able to see what is happening.

Nice and easy way to find information about your setup is within WP-Optimze itself. Over on the right hand side there is a “Status” section. If you could copy that information for all your sites, that would be perfect too.

    Cheers,

    Stu

    Thanks Stu.

You know – it had been doing this for weeks – everytime I went into Optimize. But after I posted this plea for help it stopped doing it and is now behaving normally!

    Sorry to bother you.
