stop background slides on certain pages

  • Can anyone please help a newbie…. I’ve used Shuttershot theme and now have my site up and running but I have a few questions

    1, I’d like slides to stop running when going to client area and just be able to have a static background pic or even a colour. Am sure this can be done in css or php but have no idea how.
    2, I want to position the top banner to be right at top of screen rather than lower as it is distracting when lighter pictures show through the top.

    Hopefully these 2 queries arent too complicated but dont forget I am a photographer not a programmer!
