Stop an event from showing on the second date

Is there a way of stopping an event showing up on the second date it covers?

So I’m running a clubbing blog and events typically start at 10pm and end at 6am. In the calendar view it shows the event for the following day, not exactly ideal as I don’t want to cause confusion, but I don’t want to fudge it and select all-day and then state in the description the timings, I’d simply like the option to switch off certain events which run for one night only from showing if they end the following morning.
