Stop a report in progress

Hi there,
It seems a report request may be stuck in a loop or something.

I’ve changed the settings to no longer request them as it’s totally maxed out my cpu usage allowance with my host.
Unfortunately I’m still seeing ‘Reports in progress’ as an active task.

Changing the setting didn’t stop the current active task, I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin as well as deleting it then re-installing.

Is there any way I manually force it to stop?
