I’ve a Variable Product which exists in physical and downloadable digital form.

Product Variations have been set to ‘Enabled, Downloadable, Virtual’ for the downloadable digital variants; and ‘Enabled, Manage Stock’ for the physical variants.

Number of stock units has been set up for physical products, correctly.

Product page shows two Attributes: FORMAT (for selecting digital or physical product), and VERSION (for selecting [conditionally] file format for digital OR particular version X or Y of physical product).

When customer selects FORMAT: Digital and VERSION: File format X, then WooCommerce displays a stock count referring to the physical products which the customer has not selected!

Does anyone know why, and what I am doing wrong? How do I get WooCommerce to stop showing stock figures for digital products, when these have been set up correctly in product variants?

    Thank you!

Doh. Just found my own solution:

    At Product>Product data>Inventory

…deselect ‘Enable stock management at product level.
