Stock Status Column Addition

Hi guys

When you have “manage stock” globally disabled, there is no way to show “in stock / out of stock” in the admin columns when viewing the products?

Is there a piece of code I can add to show this column when that is disabled as I’ve still quite like to be able to see, without having to filter, whether a product is in stock or out of stock.

I see no reason why it couldn’t be an option under the “screen options” tab because even though we’re not managing stock, there are still products that from time to time will need to be marked “out of stock” (discontinued / unavailable for x amount of time etc)

Please advise.
