Is the problem exactly the same as before and it only started after you upgraded? Can you provide any more details?

No it isn’t the same like weeks ago. All works fine, only the text for the waiting customer are not shown (“This product is in an other cart, wait 20 minutes please…”).
The first text is visible “Note:” and the customer can’t take the product in cart – all fine. Delete free sessions and carts not help.

I can’t reproduce this issue at all. Can you give me some steps to reproduce it or some further information?

Sorry but I do not know what I could write, I do not anything unusual, all settings are normal and works fine since our last workaround – until I did the update. Maybe I send you logindata and you can see for yourself what I did?!

Send the credentials to my email and I’ll take a look when I have a chance.

Hi James, it’s been a couple years since we “talked”. Thanks for continuing development on cart stock reducer and the continuing props in the readme file (although my feelings wouldn’t be hurt if removed).

This is an issue we’re seeing too. Pending Order Text, Append Expiration Time to Pending Order Text and Append Included Items to Pending Order Text are not functioning as expected. Instead of being triggered, we’re seeing the fallback message of “Item is no longer available”. The easiest way to demo that is to open chrome and firefox to the same url and add the same single item variation to a cart. The second one done will produce the fallback message. Let me know if you want me to email you a demo URL.

For our purposes, the message sent is sufficient, but I won’t presume other users feel the same way.

    Warmest regards,
    Bob

    Meant to say:

For our purposes, this isn’t urgent as the message sent is sufficient, but I won’t presume other users feel the same way.

Thanks for the additional info. I’ll do some more troubleshooting and see if I can reproduce it when I get a chance.

    Hi James and Bob,

    Bob:
thank you Bob for your support! My english is not really well and I thought it was obvious to use two differnt browser for testing the Pending Order Text – my mistake, sorry.

    James:
My Pending Order Text: “Hiweis:” – This will be displayed to the pending interest and the buyer.

My Text appendix “Expiration time” for the text of a waiting order: “Dieser Artikel ist bereits im Warenkorb eines anderen Kunden. Schauen Sie bitte in %CSR_EXPIRE_TIME% nochmals, ob dieser Artikel wieder verfügbar ist.” – This text is NOT displayed, but would have to be displayed to the waiting interested.

My Text attachment “Article” for the text of a waiting order: “Sie haben diesen Artikel in Ihren Warenkorb gelegt.” – This text will be displayed to the buyer only.

Hope this description is better for you.

    Thank you and best regards
    Mike

Sorry about that, it was a bug I introduced in 3.06. Luckily it was display only and didn’t affect any actual functionality.

Version 3.08 is going out right now with the fix

Thanks for trying. Still getting the same result.

Thanks for the feedback, my fix covered simple products but I didn’t test variable products. I see it not working and I’ll dig into it.

I really need to try to find the time to build a test suite for this to catch the dozen of edge cases.

This is an interesting one. The fact that it has been working since 3.0 was actually due to a bug, which when fixed caused this issue to pop up with variations. I have come up with a hack to make it work the expected way, but I want to do a bit more testing before pushing out a new release.

@bluelotusworks can you send me a direct email <[email protected]>, I want to know how your products are setup so I can make sure that is tested.
