    Hi,
I want to woocomerce automatically calculated the stock after an order in correct way. right now it reduces only 1 pcs after every order. but my products have 4 variants e.g. one has 5ml. Than of course the general stock should be reduced -5ml and not only -1

    How can I manage this?

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Enes

    Hi @ghost4154,

To manage inventory at the variant level, you need to ensure that you have enabled “Manage Stock?” at the product data level for each of your variants. Here, you can specify the stock quantity, and WooCommerce auto-manages inventory and auto-updates stock levels when a product is bought.

Please note that WooCommerce counts inventory in units, not in ml or other measurements. If you’re selling a 5ml product, consider each 5ml as one unit. So, if you have 100ml of the product, you have 20 units in stock.

Additionally, if you’re selling products with different measurements like ml, you might find the Measurement Price Calculator or Flexible Quantity plugin useful. This plugin allows you to sell products based on their dimensions, area, volume, or weight. It’s a great way to ensure your stock levels are accurately maintained.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Hi SShameem,

Ok understood. Thats not optimal solution but ok. Those suggested plug ins could work for me if it is possible to use currently existing variations option and only the stock option from the plug in without the look and function on frontend for customers.

Because iit is totally fine looking right now.

    Best regards

    Hi @ghost4154,

I’m glad to hear that you found the plugin suggestions potentially helpful. However, for further insights, it is best to ask either here for Flexible Quantity or contact us at Woo.com > My Account > Support for the Measurement Price Calculator plugin.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thanks!
