    Hi,

I’ve installed and set up the plugin with all of my stock levels for each attribute but it seems to be reducing the level at far greater volumes than the actual orders suggest. Is there a way of viewing a log or something to see what is going on?

    Thanks, Ross

    Hi Ross,

You should be able to see itemised stock reductions inside the order as order notes.

Further than this, be sure to check that you don’t have the “Match all groups” setting enabled incorrectly on your stock items, and that you have “Manage stock” disabled on your products and product variations.

It’s also worth checking that you haven’t set any quantity multipliers incorrectly on your stock item match rules.

    Hiya,

OK so i can see that when someone has placed an order it has reduced every attribute by 1 rather than just the ones they have chosen.. I have the Manage Stock disabled on products and product variations and quantity multipliers definiely set to just 1. Match all groups is also unticked for all variations.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Ross,

Usually when this happens it’s because you’re using multiple attributes on your stock items, but you’ve put them in separate groups instead of in the same group.

For example, if you have Size and Color attributes, in separate groups they’ll match any product with the specified Size OR Color selected. But in this case you’d want both attributes in the same group so that they only match a product when the combination of both Size AND Color are selected on a product.

Let me know if this is the issue, or if you’re still running into problems.
