• Hello,

I have a complicated issue and was hoping someone experienced could walk me through it.

    _____

The company I work for is a re-seller and receives a stock report every day. I need to find a way to sync their daily report with woo-commerce.

So far, I have understood that I can use a “Cron Job” to automate the uploading of the csv report. But where it gets complicated for me is right here. Heres why:

    _____

Let’s suggest two products are brought on the site (which will -2 from the web stock) seems easy enough…..

Now let’s say the new daily stock report gets uploaded (which If If I’m not mistaken, will not take the previously brought web items into account) Meaning it will upload new stock, but those -2 products that were brought on the site would be erased from the stock count, it woulden’t sync in?

    ___________

So what I’d like to know, is if there is a better way around this? maybee I can get woo-commerce to modify the local stock report hosted elsewhere? I’m quite new here and would appreciate the help.

    Thank you.

WooCommerce has an API, so you could retrieve stock information. But the integration with your other systems would need to be developed separately – we cannot provide such code here.
