    Hello,

    Has there been any reports on problems with stock/inventory after the latest update of WooCommerce?

    I have just noticed during the last week that stock is set to -1 after order. So far it seems to happend on product variants but i need to check deeper into the problem.

    I have checked several products with wrong stock to see if problem was related to a specific payment option, but that is not the case.

    I will now check each new order to see if it happens at the moment order is received with status processing or when order is set to completed. I also need to check if this happens on any stock numbers or only when i get sold out.

    Check the below order notice, it says stock reduced from 0 to -1. Actually not possible as it is not possible to order a product with 0 stock. And this product i can say for 100% sure was in stock with 1.

    Stock reduced: Duodji Felt Wool Mittens – 100% wool – Medium (AF-27204-M) 0→-1, BCB Nato Box Opener – 2pk (BCB-CN225) 6→4

    More interesting findings. Se all order notes from the last failed order below. You will see that payment option has placed the order 2 times and also that stock updated 2 times.

    The Dintero order has been captured. Captured amount: 966.00 NOK.

    We appreciate for sharing detailed information. Currently, we have not received any widespread reports of this issue following the latest update. However, that doesn’t rule out a potential issue.

    The behavior you’re describing, where stock is being reduced twice, is indeed unusual. It might be due to a conflict with another plugin or a specific setting on your site.

    I recommend troubleshooting by deactivating all other plugins except WooCommerce to see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, you can reactivate the plugins one by one to identify which one might be causing the conflict.

    If the problem continues after these steps, it would be helpful if you could provide us with your system status report. You’ll find it at the top of the page under WooCommerce > Status > Select Get System Report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file containing the SSR’s contents to share with us.

    You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

    Well, we have just found that it only happens with one of the 4 payment gateways i am using so the developer will check what is happening.
