    Hello @brosman7,

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with product stock not updating automatically and confirmation emails not being sent to admins.

Could you please confirm you have checked ‘Enable stock management’ under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory?

In the meantime, we’d like to have a better understanding of how your site is set up, please share with us your system status report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support then paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

As for the confirmation email issue, please check your WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > New Order to ensure that the admin email listed there is correct and that the ‘Enable this email notification’ checkbox is selected.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @ckadenge,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I’ve checked “Enable stock management”.

System status link: https://github.com/ingridbrosman/silvia-2024/issues/1#issue-2170048113 (I don’t know if I did it right)

The admin email listed there is correct and that the ‘Enable this email notification’ checkbox is selected.

    Thanks.

    Hi @brosman7,

Can you provide a screenshot showing the inventory setting in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory for better assistance? For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

Additionally, is any action pending in WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions?

To resolve the email delivery issue, you may consider installing a plugin such as WP Mail Logging. This will allow you to access all outgoing email logs from your site. If you observe that mail is being sent, it’s worth inspecting your SMTP settings. If needed, please review our email sending FAQ for help, troubleshooting steps and solutions here: https://woo.com/document/email-faq/

Furthermore, please increase the PHP Post Max Size from 20 MB to 2 GB for optimal performance.

In the meantime, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woo.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi @shameemreza,

    Thanks for your reply.

Here’s the screenshot?of Inventory in WooCommerce settings: https://snipboard.io/3Jmuak.jpg

    Yes, there’re 3 pending actions: https://snipboard.io/hqmrpA.jpg

I already had the WP Mail Logging plugin installed and SMTP is configured. How can I know if it’s working well or is well configured?

I only can increase the PHP Post Max Size to 100 MB in my server.

    Best regards,
    Ingrid

    Hi @brosman7,

    Thanks for sharing requested information.

Your inventory settings seem to be correct. Also, those pending actions shouldn’t interfere with product stock. Please share a screenshot of the order, especially order notes and inventory settings on the product label to troubleshoot further.

Since you already have the WP Mail Logging plugin installed for the email issue, you can check the logs in your WordPress dashboard under WP Mail Log. If emails are being sent, they will appear in these logs. If they aren’t appearing, it might be an issue with your SMTP configuration.

You can use plugins like WP Mail SMTP by WPForms, Check Email, or POST SMTP to verify your SMTP settings. These plugins will help you verify if your WordPress installation can send emails.

Furthermore, did you conduct conflict test? What was the result?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Ingrid @brosman7,

I see the screenshots for Order 2, Product details 2, and Product details 3 are the same. Can you make sure to send the right screenshots, please? This is interesting as we need to review the order notes, typically you’ll find a note there when the payment is processed the order changes its status and the stock decreases, for instance: https://prnt.sc/9vhRdWuX9hsM.

Additionally, can you check if orders paid through another payment gateway include more notes, and have the stock management applied, please?

    Thanks!

    Hey, @brosman7!

Thank you for the screenshots. Just a heads up, when sharing screenshots on the public forum, please remove sensitive information such as customers addresses, email, etc as sharing those is against guidelines.

You shared one screenshots of orders made with Apple pay:
    – On march 7, which says the inventory was deducted. Can you confirm that there were no issues on this order? Or did the issue happen even if the order notes say otherwise?
    – As I understand the issue is not happening with Apple pay, is that it?

And you shared two screenshots paid with credit card:
    – One on January 29, which did not have the issue, right?
    – One on February 6, which the order notes say the stock was on hold, but nothing else.
    – Were those made via which payment gateway/plugin?

    • Do you have other payment methods? If so, do you have the issue with them?
    • Is this happening to all products on all orders since January 30?
    • The products you had this issue with, did you add them on the default WooCommerce product interface or did you use any plugins?
    • Did you made any changes to the site on January 29/30?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @carolm29,

I checked and compared other orders and I see that the issue only happens with Redsys gateway. ApplePay and other paylent gateways work.

This website uses a plugin called “Redsys WooCommerce” by Redsys.

This website is managed by 3 or 4 people, I can’t tell if anyone made changes on the site on January 29/30.

    Best regards,
    Ingrid

    Hey, @brosman7!

I checked and compared other orders and I see that the issue only happens with Redsys gateway. ApplePay and other paylent gateways work.

    Thanks!

We have a Redsys plugin we support, but it is WooCommerce Redsys Gateway By José Conti, which is in version 6.0. And yours is Redsys WooCommerce: byRedsys – version 3.1.1

So it is a third-party plugin. Since it is only happening with this plugin, please reach out to their support so they can assist you further.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
