    I’m just posting this thread to confirm that it woks well with wp 4.8.1 and buddypress 2.9.1 and bbpress 2.5.14
    (select remote in settings, even you have your YOURLS installed on the same host)

    The difference bethween this plugin and the newer one (Yourls link creator) is that OZH plugin supports creating short links in buddypress forums (bbpress) at fron-end. But the other one does not.
