    Hi

I wanted to test your plugin in order to “hide” the Google Analytics Code, but it’s not working, as you can see on this screenshot.

I have “played with the Snippet Type, but none of the 3 options will disable the direct connection of the browser and google-analytics.com.

Probably, I have completely misunderstood the purpose of this plugin, otherwise I would be glad if you can instruct further. I have not found help about this “issue” in your docs.

Thank you in advance and kind regards,
    Sascha

    Hi!

CAOS loads the Google Analytics library/libraries locally. I checked the site from your screenshot and that seems to be working properly (just check for the file loaded from the /uploads/caos/ folder.) That’s actually a locally hosted, and renamed, version of the analytics.js library!

I think by ‘hide’ you mean proxy. If you want to proxy the connections made to Google’s API (google-analytics.com/r/collect), etc. you need CAOS Pro, which unlocks Stealth Mode. That’s what you’re looking for! It’s available for purchase here.

Let me know if you need anything else!
