I’m still stuck trying to fix this problem. Just to refresh, SEOPress is telling me there are 3 <h1> tags in the code of my wordpress page(s). Yet, when I look at text view while editing a page, when I inspect the html there, I can’t find 3 <h1> tags anywhere.

I also manually searched the theme files through Theme Editor and couldn’t find them.

Lastly, I ssh’d into my VPS and manually searched the theme directory recursively for files containing <h1> using grep -r ‘<h1>’. It returned four results in the ‘inc’ folder. After commenting out those <h1> tags, I noticed no difference at all, and SEOPress is still reporting the occurrence of 3 <h1> tags.

How can I find and edit this error? (The theme is great ~ newspaperss ~ but support is none existent.)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

When you search the headings 1 tag, use this query <h1 instead of <h1>.

Clear your cache after editing your theme.

And refresh the analysis with the dedicated button.
